How to make an Iced Coffee & Tonic: Detour Coffee x Barbet

Your morning coffee just got a summer upgrade. Whether you’re sweating through the heat or hanging out in the shade with your crew, we’ve got something that’ll hit the spot.

Meet the Iced Coffee & Tonic: Summer Edition.

We teamed up with our friends at Detour Coffee to create a combo that’s bright, bold, and borderline essential: a double shot of their Bouncy Castle Espresso poured over ice and finished with a can of Love Bite—our tart pink grapefruit + ginger + juniper sparkler.

Simple. Refreshing. Just really good.

What you’ll need:

1 can of Barbet Love Bite

A double shot of Detour’s Bouncy Castle Espress

A big ol’ scoop of ice

Makes: One very good drink (or two smaller ones, if you’re in a sharing mood)
Takes: 5 minutes, max

How to make it:

  1. Grab your favourite glass

  2. Fill it with ice—no holding back.

  3. Crack open a can of Love Bite and pour it over the ice. All of it. Unless you’re feeling generous—then split it with a pal.

  4. Pull a double shot of Bouncy Castle Espresso. (For the coffee nerds: 18g in, 45g out, around 30 seconds.)

  5. Pour the espresso gently over the sparkling water and let the magic happen.

  6. Sip, smile, repeat.
